The key part of the band’s repertoire is represented by the original songs – result of the cooperation of Petra Vlková and in most cases Miroslav Linka, the BAND´s guitarist. Their roles are rather strictly divided: initial ideas – lyrics and melodies - come from Petra and Mirek is the one who finalizes the songs by harmonizing and arranging them. The closest possible definition of the style of their music is acoustic pop with the hint of jazz. Nevertheless, overall sound of Petra Vlková&BAND goes further than that. All the band members are very open to the various musical influences which leads to the great style mixture in the interpretation and arrangements of each song.

The repertoire of the band consists then of covers of jazz standards and famous pop songs. These covers are arranged specially for this band again by Mirek Linka or the arrangements arise from the team cooperation of the whole band.
